The Maud Lady Cardinals beat Union Hill 23-15 tonight. Sam B. was the winning pitcher, striking out 10! Janie R. had multiple hits, including a GRAND SLAM! Lilyan B. also had several hits, including a 2 run HOMER! We racked up 20 hits in the game. Lilyan, Savannah S., Janie, Alleigh C., Sam B., and Skailer G. all had multiple hits. Savannah and Lilyan each collected 4 hits to lead the Lady Cardinals. The Lady Cardinals tore up the base paths. Alleigh lead the way with two stolen bases. Several Maud Cardinal High School Band students participated in the UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest today. Our students received several medals, and Emma performed the most challenging solo memorized, and got a 1 and will advance to state in May! #MaudTXISD #SecondarySuperheroes
